DR. ROB COVELL, is a senior leader, educator, author, and consultant with decades of experience in Christian higher education, ministry leadership, and organizational development. As Founder and Principal Consultant of Sophia Group, Dr. Covell partners with churches and Christian non-profits to bring clarity, health, and faithful structure to leadership systems, ministry strategy, and organizational culture. With over ten books published, his writing explores themes of leadership, righteousness, justice, spiritual formation, and social/institutional change bridging biblical theology with contemporary leadership theory and practice.

His consulting approach integrates Biblical wisdom, established leadership theory, and deep listening practices, enabling leaders to discern next steps rather than imposing external solutions. Dr. Covell is especially trusted by boards, senior pastors, and executive teams navigating complexity, growth, or transition.

His professional passions include leadership consulting, Christian education, and social/institutional change with a particular focus on developing leaders of character who are equipped to lead ethically in complex and evolving environments.
